How to avoid lost entries (Introduction)

by David Turell @, Monday, February 08, 2010, 16:50

Since this website is occasionally sluggish, I've lost entries to the forum and had to re-think and re-type. I've finally solved my problem. I copy anything of length, and if my submission doesn't get there, I've got a copy to try again with. Always works the second time.

How to avoid lost entries

I second this. I always copy just before I click "post."

The cause is actually due to how long the server keeps your session active. No activity for... it seems to range, but after 30minutes is a safe bet.

How to avoid lost entries

I always draft my posts on WORD, save them, and then copy and paste them into the forum's message box. That removes all the time pressure and ensures I have a copy.
