String theory fails (Introduction)

String theory is an attempt to combine Einstein's relativity, which works on large objects, with quantum mechanics, which works on tiny objects, but has failed to do so for over 25 years. Quantum loop gravity has also not worked to combine the two theories. Will we ever get a combination equation to bring the two together.
