The Pope on Intolerant Agnosticism (Agnosticism)

GEORGE: I noticed this news item a while ago and thought of posting it here, but have only just recovered from my winter hibernation-http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/06/pope-intolerant-agnosticism-_n_2419806.html-I don't suppose those who post here consider your brand of agnosticism intolerant, but you might like to respond.-Let me join in the chorus of welcome-backs, George! Hardly a time to come out of hibernation, though ... unless your part of the country is warmer than mine.-The Pope's attack on intolerant agnostics is hilarious. Now that Herr Ratzinger has somehow managed to put the ongoing child abuse scandal behind him, he can turn to the real villains.

QUOTE: "Today's regnant agnosticism has its own dogmas and is extremely intolerant regarding anything that would question it and the criteria it employs."-He's right, you know. The dogma of open-mindedness is a blot on the virgin papyrus of the one true faith, and intolerance of prejudice against women, against gays, against people who use contraceptives, against people who don't think the pope is infallible, certainly merits a dip in the lake of fire and brimstone. And he hasn't even started yet on atheists ... or perhaps he doesn't believe in them.
