Lots of research is going on to control cells by using light or fluorescense:

"We can control migration of cells, which is important not only to the immune system but also during embryonic development to ensure that cells that make the heart, liver and other organs go to the right place. It's also key in cancer metastasis, when a tumor releases cells that migrate to other parts of the body. We are excited by the many possibilities."-A quote from an earlier article on light and it's potential:-Scientists Control Living Cells With Light; Advances Could Enhance Stem Cells' Power-"University of Central Florida researchers have shown for the first time that light energy can gently guide and change the orientation of living cells within lab cultures. That ability to optically steer cells could be a major step in harnessing the healing power of stem cells and guiding them to areas of the body that need help."-I believe eventually scientist will come to understand that the human consciousness already has built within it the ability to guide light for healing within our own and others body. Of course, self-healing isn't profitable for large corporations just like free energy is something placed as far away from the public as possible.
