Sometimes, I no longer wish to believe, and it is in exploring this portion of nature that makes theism difficult.-I know you think my other thoughts dark, but they give me no heartburn. Knowing that my memory will probably not last makes me work harder to be remembered...-You have much in common with Emerson, David. Find the essays "Circles," and "The Oversoul." These are two optimistic passages I often find refuge in.
