Neil takes care of the occasional spam. We have also been attacked on rare occasion by over zealous nuns, fundimentalists, etc., but that only makes the case for us that religions create more trouble than they are worth. However, reacting to religious foolishness is a poor reason to be an atheist or an agnostic.I am neither, but I have a faith of my own doing, based on a study of the science of cosmology & particle physics and on the discovery that the Darwin theory is swiss-cheese, sort of a faith-based religion of its own. I do believe evolution occurred, but that DNA has guidance codes that create a drive toward complexity. That is a short summary of my previous posts.-On this particular statement I could not agree with you more. Even if we perhaps disagree on details, I think the 'spirit' of our belief system is very similar.

Alas, it would seem that AF has lost ALL the posts made on it in the last 18 months or more, so what happened back there is now lost forever. And there is no sign that the site will be resurrected.-I was directed by George (a co-owner) to cut down on the amount of stuff the trolls posted and the personal insults being slung between various factions. If that came across as a control freak mission of my own making, it was not my intent and no one ever complained to my face.-C'est la vie, as they say on other forums.-I must apologise for your forum being used to air the dirty washing from one that no longer exists, and promise that this will be my last word on this topic around here.

I don't mind saying it here.-I simply thought that the latest moderator Bill that Frank promoted went a lot control freak with his power and over editted religious and non-religious posts alike. The out right insults towards members said "in so many words" made me nauseous and offended... I do not get offended personally but I felt it for the number of people that I confirmed with the people that were attacked by it. I wanted them to understand that Bill didn't speak for everyone even as he added the "WE" to his posts when dealing with the people he wanted to dominate.-I don't think the idea of grouping Agnostics into different little groups is any different than the myriad of tiny groups that the ReligionS (big S there)has divided themselves into trying to conquer one another and everyone else either.-I don't know why the Forums were closed and its sad to see them go.

Agnostic Forums has gone offline; we need dhw (reply)

I really have no idea how we can join forces, other than by promoting each other's site. And the more all agnostic forums take on the same attitude and promote the cross-pollination of ideas and initiatives, the stronger our collective presence will become. At least, I would hope so.-To help move this idea along, I have put a section on http://www.agnosticsinternational.net for use by AgnosticWeb members to post anything they wish to our members.-Regards-Bill
