DAVID: Latest news bleat: it is time for ewe to enter the silence of the lambs, before this pun run turns into a mare-athon. Please take it on the lamb, before I get your goat, and ram it down your throat.-MATT: I think David just won...-Ever since I conclusively proved that man's immediate ancestor was not a goat but a sheep, there has been a battle of lamb-ent wit between the pun-dits. It should have ended with David's last post, but although Matt's verdict is not pre-matt-ure, as I have indeed been worsted, before I abandon this text-ile explain my thinking.-Until David's last post, this had been a peaceful exchange of views. However, the threat of violence from a Texan cowboy ... a mixture of Billy the Kid, Ram-bo and Duffelo Bill ... shows that it's time for a peace tweedy:

I admit defeat,
Bleat a hasty retreat ...
Back I goato my fence
And my ewesual seat.
