Origin of life; RNA cooperation (reply)

More wishful thinking in the lab. Intelligently mix up pieces of RNA and they can reassemble: -http://phys.org/news/2012-10-rna-ribozymes-cooperate-reassemble.html-How many convenient petri dishes were on ancient Earth? And how did ribozymes appear in the first place?

Origin of life; man-made cells (reply)

The research goes on: packing RNA into containing material induces some reactivity. In real time 3.6 billion years ago how did RNA appear and how did it get packed into other chemicals? And where did they come from on an inorganic chemistry Earth? Just-so chemistry to justify a grant.-http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/10/121014162906.htm-Second version:-http://phys.org/news/2012-10-early-earth-cells-life-packaged-rna.html

Origin of life

A new approach in the lab. Trying a nucleotide with a simpler sugar. Note the reference to Darwinian evolution of a molecule. Evolution opccurs ijn life, not pre-life. Also note the use of a polymerizing enjyme, just hanging around in the pre-life era? I love active grantsmanship in the OOL labs!
