Tilt the axis a little more, spin it a little faster, a little bit closer or further from the sun, the oceans a little deeper or a little shallower; if any of these things changes more than marginally everything, and I do mean everything, dies. The weather is a combination of all of these factors and more. In order for God to change the climate, it would likely need some fairly significant changes from the core of the earth up.


David: But then there is the weapon of Chixculub that changed a lot.


Tony: No doubt that event was major. I am still skeptical on dating methods(no, I am not a young earth creationist), and that makes it hard for me to agree on timelines

But 10 million years plus or minus the 64 million years ago event makes no difference to the dinos.
